Disconnection of power supply due to relocation
If you are moving out from a property, you should submit an application form for termination of the Power Supply Contract to the competent PC office or dial the customer service telephone number 11770, so as to interrupt the issuance of the bills under your name, otherwise the bill issuance will continue and you will be responsible for their payment according to the relevant term on your contract.
1. The bill should be issued under your name
2. An electricity bill or the supply number of the property
3. Identity card (or another official relevant document)
4. Document proving your Tax Identification Number (bearing any public document e.g. income tax notice)
During the above procedure you should mention the mailing address to which the Final Bill will be sent and possibly for your own facilitation, the the Supply Number of the property to which you are staying (or you will stay) so as to transfer possible the credit or debit amount of your bill.
The above procedure should be realized by an authorized person presenting the following:
- Certified authorization
- Identification card
The FINAL BILL will be issued based on the meter readings and will include the consumption between the last meter reading of the “ACTUAL” bill and the final meter reading on the disconnection day. In the FINAL BILL calculation, the deposit paid on the date of the contract signature will be set off.

If the person who signed the contract with PPC has passed away, the application form for termination of the Power Supply Contract can be made by the heir as long as the following documents are presented:
- Death certificate of the contracting party
- Copy of the inheritance contract of the property (acceptance of inheritance) or certificate of next of kin
- In case of more than one heirs, certified proxy from the rest of the heirs (Sworn Statement No 1599/1986) stating their consent for the disconnection of the power supply.
Important information for the property owner: Pursuant to L. 3345/2005, property which has no electricity service and is vacant is exempted from the cleaning and lighting municipal charges, provided that you submit to the relevant municipality: a) the relevant Solemn Declaration of the owner of the property or his/her legal representative, b) a certificate issued by the HEDNO local branch on the termination of the supply contract for the property.
