• Secure a fixed rate per kWh and plan your expenses.
• Use solar energy without investing in equipment.
• Take on zero technical risk from equipment installation.

Once at the start

You pay a €999 activation cost for the study, design and connection processes in 2 instalments:

• 50% when signing the agreement.
• 50% once HEDNO issues the terms of connection.

You also need to pay:

• The connection fee to HEDNO when you apply on its platform.
• The inspection fee (€151, VAT included) for the required inspection before signing the agreement. This amount is deducted from the activation cost.

Every month

You pay for the electricity produced by your solar panels, through your electricity bill.

We calculate the amount at a fixed rate per kWh, based on the initial quote.

The quote is tailored to your energy needs. The aim is to save on the energy you get from the grid.

10 years

The term of your PPC myEnergy SolarSmart agreement is 10 years.

And then what?

After the end of the agreement, you may choose the solution that best meets your needs at that time:

• Renew the agreement with equipment upgrade.
• Extend the agreement at a reduced rate for the energy produced.
• Terminate the agreement and have the equipment removed.

With direct energy consumption (synchronisation)

PPC myEnergy SolarSmart operates with synchronisation, i.e. you consume the energy generated by your solar panel right away.

So, the more energy you consume when your solar panels are generating it, the greater the financial benefits and savings, as you are charged at the agreed fixed rate.

With net billing

When your solar panels generate more energy than what you are consuming at the time, the surplus energy goes to the grid.

With net billing, the value of the energy going to the grid is credited to your account. This way you reduce your electricity bill.

With compensation mechanism at the annual settlement

We guarantee 20% annual savings on your electricity bill, under the terms of the contract.

If at the annual settlement you have not achieved the guaranteed benefit, a compensation mechanism is activated and the remaining amount is credited to your next bill.

With savings on grid rates

When you install a solar system, you reduce the energy you get from the grid. This has a direct impact on the regulated charges on your bill, i.e. the charges linked to electricity transfer and distribution.

These charges are calculated based on the energy absorbed by the grid. Therefore, the less energy absorbed by the grid the lower the respective charges.

6. Pay the remaining activation cost once HEDNO issues the terms of connection.
