Activate FixItBnBservice and feel safe at home or your business if you suddenly need an electrician, plumber, natural gas boiler technician, or locksmith at any time of the day. Additionally, Ethniki Insurance will provide complimentary civil liability insurance.

FixItBnB is a 12-month home service that can be activated along with home or business electricity products. The service includes 4 visits in total per year for 4 different specialties, covering an amount of 400€ per visit.

In case of an emergency:

  3. A technician will get to your property as soon as possible

Can I get FixItBnB without being a PPC customer?

Only PPC customers can get FixItBnB. FixItBnB is available to customers with an active power supply with PPC at their BnBs.

 

What specialties does the emergency technical service cover? And how many times can I use the service?

FixItBnB covers:

  • Electricians
  • Plumbers
  • Natural gas boiler technicians
  • Locksmiths

The service includes a total of 4 visits per year.

 

What should I do in case of an emergency?

  • You should call Next Gen Retail Services’ call centre on 210-3497020, which operates 24/7.
  • State your full name, your Contract Account Number as indicated on your electricity bill, your property address, a contact number and a short description of the incident.
  • Next Gen Retail Services' specialized partner network will ensure the immediate provision of emergency technical support services at your home, after notifying you.
  • During the visit at your property, the technician is required to present their identification and you are expected to present your electricity bill, on which the Contract Account is stated.

 

What is the amount covered for damage repair?

The amount shall be up to €400 per house call, including the technician’s travel costs, their work pay, and the materials used for the repair.

If the damage requires a higher cost to get resolved, then the technician will either make all the necessary repairs immediately in order to temporarily restore the damage or will fully restore it, with your consent to cover the extra cost.

 

When does the emergency technical support product take effect?

For new customers, the Insurance Coverage starts 10 days after the electric meter starts counting representing by PPC. For existing customers, the emergency technical support starts from the date of the product's activation.

 

Does the emergency technical assistance service covers all regions of Greece?

Yes. But, in cases where the property is located in remote areas, far from urban or semi-urban areas, after consultation with Next Gen Retail Services' call center, you will be able to call a technician in your area; Next Gen Retail Services will cover the cost up to €400. For these special cases, you shall follow the special instructions provided by Next Gen Retail Services.

 

I have more than one BnB. Do I need to get more than one FixItBnB?

FixItBnB is linked to a single power supply and a property code [property registration number (AMA in Greek) or Registry Number of Tourism Enterprises (MHTE in Greek) and Special Operating Mark (ΕSL in Greek)]. If you have more than one short-term rental with independent power supplies, a separate FixIt BnB number is required. If you hold a Registry Number of Tourism Enterprises (MHTE in Greek) and you operate more than one rental powered by a single meter, the insurance plan linked to that meter covers all rentals connected to it.

 

I own a hotel. Am I covered by FixItBnB?

FixItBnB is available for power supplies of up to 55kVa, and an AMA, MHTE, or ESL is required.

 

What does liability insurance cover?

The Liability Insurance is provided by PPC as a gift to its customers. The Liability Insurance Plan for rooms/apartments of short-term lease for tourist purposes, covers the property manager’s civil liability for claims made by guests. This includes compensation for bodily injury and/or guest’s property damages that may occur during their stay and are related to the premises and facilities of the insured property.

The maximum coverage is €30,000 per occurrence and in aggregate.

 

I have my own insurance and I don’t wish to participate in this plan. Can I opt out?

You can opt out of the plan either during the purchase or at a later date by contacting Ethniki Asfalistiki directly at +30-210-9099000. However, please note that the Liability Insurance is provided as a gift and does not affect the final price.

 

Does this cover the requirements of Law no 5170/2025 for short-term rentals?

Yes. FixItBnB fulfils the legal requirements under Law no 5170/2025, which mandates liability insurance for short-term rentals, while ensuring immediate technical support in cases of emergency.

 

I already have liability insurance for my accommodation. Can I remove the insurance from my subscription and keep only the emergency coverage?

The liability insurance included in FixItBnB is offered as a gift, without affecting the cost of the service.

 

Are there any restrictions on purchasing FixItBnB?

You can sign up for FixItBnB without further restrictions, provided that your property holds a property code (AMA, MHTE, or ESL), the power supply is under 55kVA, and it has an active electricity product of PPC (excluding the PPC myHotel SmartRate product).
