What I’m paying for and what the charge covers

The charge is fixed. The price does not include 24% VAT.

4 technician visits per year

For 12 months from the moment you activate or renew FixItBnB you get up to 4 visits in total from 4 specialties: electrician, plumber, locksmith, gas boiler technician.

Up to €400 covered per visit

We cover up €400 repair cost for each visit.

This amount includes the technician’s visit to your property, their fee, as well as the equipment and materials required for the repair.

What emergency breakdowns it covers

You get immediate check and repair in case of emergency breakdown in your:

Electrical installation – Electrical network, surface wiring, junction boxes, fuses, electrical panels, sockets and switches
Plumbing installation – Leaks, blockages, water heating, damage to supply and drainage piping within the property
Main entrance lock – Loss of keys, lock breakage
Natural gas installation – Individual burner, wall-mounted boilers

What the free civil liability insurance plan covers

It covers your expenses if one of your customers claims compensation for bodily injury or material damage sustained during their stay at your property and caused by the premises or facilities.

Coverage extends up to €30,000 per incident and in total.

Overall, it covers the requirements of Greek Law 5170/2025 regarding civil liability insurance for short-term rentals.

What happens in the event of an emergency breakdown

You report the breakdown over the phone

You call on +30 210 349 7020 and give:

Your full name.
The contract account number found on your electricity bill.
The address of the property.
A contact number.
A short description of the incident.

We send a technician right away

We call and let you know the details of the specialised technician who will come to your property.

At the time of the visit, you show them your electricity bill with the contract account number and they present their ID.

I have questions

I have a PPC electricity product with FixItBnB activated. Can a person other than myself report a breakdown?

Yes. But they have to state your details at the call centre.

What if the repair exceeds €400?

The technician takes all the necessary measures to contain or repair the damage temporarily.

Otherwise, they fully repair the damage, if you agree, and you cover the extra cost.

Can I call a technician as soon as I activate FixItBnB?

No. Coverage starts 10 days after FixItBnB activation, provided you already have a PPC electricity product.

If you don’t, you can get a PPC electricity product and activate FixItBnB at the same time. You’ll be able to use it 10 days later.

I have more than one short-term rentals. Can I activate more than one FixItBnB?

You activate 1 FixItBnB for every electricity supply.

For every active FixItBnB you give 1 Property Registration Number (AMA), or 1 Special Operating Logo (ESL) and 1 Tourism Enterprise Registration Number (MHTE).

Insurance coverage applies to the properties declared under the respective AMA, as recorded in the corresponding registers.

I already have an insurance plan. Can I cancel the civil liability insurance plan offered with FixItBnB?

Yes, you can cancel it upon activating FixItBnb or later. However, the FixItBnB fee will not change.

In any case, the civil liability insurance you get for free with FixItΒnΒ does not affect the insurance plan you hold separately.

Does FixItBnB cover all areas in Greece?

Yes. However, if your property is located in an area that is very far from urban or semi-urban centres, you call us on +30 210 349 7020 and we arrange for a technician from your area to visit.

I have a hotel. Am I covered with FixItBnB?

Only if your supply is up to 55kVA and you have ΑΜΑ , or ESL and MHTE numbers.

Which types of damage does FixItBnB not cover?

Planned works and maintenance – Boiler inspection, cleaning, maintenance etc.
Aesthetic improvements and renovation – Painting, plastering, tiling, decorating etc.
Electrical appliances – Washing machine, refrigerator, stove etc.
Light bulbs, light fixtures, consumables – Change of light bulbs, light fixtures, batteries, filters etc.
Damage caused by natural phenomena – Lightning, floods, earthquakes, land slides etc.
Shared facilities – Stairwells, elevators, common areas in apartment buildings etc.
