Switching Power Supplier


If you wish to switch Power Supplier and become customer of PPC, you can visit any PPC Sales Office or call our Customer Support on 11770, in order to sign a new Power Supply Contract under your name.

All previous overdue bills must have been paid off or entered into a repayment plan.

You must provide us with your Tax ID Number and submit the following supporting documents:

-  your latest electricity bill and proof of payment or settlement thereof

-  the reading of your meter (e.g. photo) is required when your supply is up to 25 KVA

-  photocopy of the ID card or passport of the legal representative

The above procedure may also be carried out by any person authorized by the legal representative as long as he/she submits the following documents:

• an authorization, original or copy, certified by the Police Station or the Citizens’ Service Centre (KEP) or the competent Supervising Authority (e.g. Embassy, Public Body, Church)

• the ID card, passport or residence permit/stay permit

Additional supporting documents required depending on the type of company:

for General or Limited Partnerships

- a copy of the company’s Articles of Association as registered with the General Electronic Commercial Registry (G.E.MI) or certificate from the competent department for companies of the First Instance Court, indicating the representative(s) of the company.

for  Limited Liability companies (LTD) 

- a copy of the latest Articles of Association in force as published in the National Official Gazette, indicating the General Electronic Commercial Registry (G.E.MI) number. If the G.E.MI number is not indicated, you need to submit a relevant certificate issued by the General Secretariat for Trade & Commerce or the competent Region.

- excerpt from the Minutes of the Board of Directors, designating the representative/manager of the company.

for Private Companies

- a copy of the Articles of Association as registered with the General Electronic Commercial Registry (GEMI).

- a decision of the Private Company designating the company's Manager.

for Societes Anonymes (SA)

- a copy of the latest Articles of Association in force as published in the National Official  Gazette, indicating the General Electronic Commercial Registry (G.E.MI) number. If the G.E.MI number is not indicated, you need to submit a relevant certificate issued by the General Secretariat for Trade & Commerce or the competent Region.

- excerpt from the Minutes of the latest General Meeting concerning the election of the Board of Directors and the appointment of a legal representative if not designated or if otherwise provided for in the Articles of Association

- excerpt from the Minutes of the Board of Directors, designating the representative/manager of the company in case of change of the legal representative 

for Foundations and Organisations 
-  a copy of the Foundation’s or the Organisation’s Articles of Association.

for Shipping Companies 
- a copy of the latest Articles of Association of the Company in force as published in the National Official Gazette. 
- a copy of the most recent certificate issued by the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping & Tourism, confirming the company's establishment and its legal representative.

for Embassies

-  document issued by the competent Supervising Authority (Embassador) including a simple authorization for the signing of the Power Supply Contract

-  original certificate issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for VAT exemption if the relevant conditions are fulfilled

for Public Bodies

-  document issued by the competent Supervising Authority including an authorization for the signing of the Power Supply Contract

for Church-Church Organisations

- document issued by the competent Supervising Authority (competent Metropolis) including an authorization for the signing of the Power Supply Contract

NOTES:

In case of overdue debts for the power supply for which you are going to sign the contract, it may be required to submit a proof of your relation with the property, as per case, or the payment receipt.

By signing the new contract it is required to pay a deposit amount. To find out more about the deposit amount, you can call our Customer Support on 11770 providing the Supply Number of the property or the Contract Account Number. 

If the new Power Supply Contract remains under the same individual/legal person’s name with the one recorded in the HEDNO system, as this has been declared by your current Supplier, the Electrical Installer’s Solemn Declaration is not required as provided for by RAE. In the event that the new contract will be concluded in a different name, then you should find out the expiration date of the Electrical Installer’s Solemn Declaration/licensed electrician’s certificate by visiting HEDNO’s website, www.deddie.gr.
