The product divides the day into three zones. In the midday zone, when hotels have the highest consumption, prices are stable and low, offering complete certainty and budgetability. In the other two zones, an average market price is applied to ensure transparency and simplicity, eliminating the need to constantly monitor market fluctuations.

 

How does it differ from fixed tariffs?

With fixed products, you pay a fixed price throughout the year, even when the wholesale price of energy declines. PPC myHotel SmartRate offers a low, fixed price during peak hours (midday) and a competitive average price throughout the day. Plus, there's no early exit clause.

 

What happens if wholesale prices rise?

In the lunchtime zone, you are completely safe because the price remains consistent. In the other two zones, because an average is used, variations are smoothed out and have no substantial impact on your cost.

 

How can I view the next day's rates for zones A and C?

You may see the next day's charges for zones A and C from the relevant page (currently available only in Greek).

How can I get a PPC blue public charger installed at my hotel?

Once your new contract has been activated, you can:


A PPC blue representative will call you to arrange an on-site inspection and confirm the suitability of the location. When the installation is finished, you will receive vouchers worth a total of €300 (15 certificates worth €20 each). This is a one-time offer.

Are there any prerequisites for activating PPC myHotel SmartRate for my business's electricity supply?

To activate PPC myHotel SmartRate, your supply must have a smart meter installed by HEDNO and be registered in the telemetry system.

If you're unsure what type of meter you have, HEDNO will assist you.

 

How do I acquire a smart meter?

You may request a meter change from the Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO). The request can also be submitted electronically here by clicking "Create new request." Select "Meter check" in the request category and write in the comments, "I request the replacement of my meter with an electronic one." Once you have finished the steps specified by the platform, you can submit the request.
