Smart power consumption at home with the new dynamic electricity product

Customers with supplies equipped with a "smart meter" who want to take advantage of energy price fluctuations throughout the day by moving some of their consumption to periods when the price is known to be lower.

Dynamic electricity pricing is a system in which prices change hourly based on wholesale market prices.

You can lower your energy bills using dynamic pricing in the following ways:

• Shift loads to off-peak hours: Use energy-intensive appliances, such as air conditioners, when electricity prices are low.
• Use smart gadgets: Utilize smart devices by scheduling their operation during off-peak hours through an app.
• Avoid peak consumption: Avoid using energy-intensive appliances during peak hours, thereby lowering energy expenses.

By implementing these best practices, you may make your energy consumption more efficient and cost-effective, lowering your expenses and footprint.

Dynamic pricing allows you to monitor rates hourly. The 24 hourly prices for each day are revealed the day before, using a specific computation tool (coming soon). The user-friendly charts display detailed prices per hour, day, and month, as well as their history.

If you already have an active PPC contract, you can go to a PPC store or contact 800-900-1000. 

HEDNO must install a "smart meter" and provide validated meter data before any dynamic pricing may be activated.

You may request a meter change from the Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO). The request can also be submitted electronically by clicking "Create new request." Select "Meter check" in the request category and write in the comments, "I request the replacement of my meter with an electronic one." Once you have finished the steps specified by the platform, you can submit the request.
