Internal Audit

Internal Audit constitutes an independent, objective, safeguarding and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the Company's operations.

It helps to achieve its objectives by adopting a systematic and professional approach to the assessment and improvement of the effectiveness of risk management processes, internal audit systems and corporate governance, so that:

    • Risks are identified and managed appropriately,

    • Personnel acts in accordance with PPC policies and procedures, Regulations and applicable legislation.

    • PPC's resources are acquired and used efficiently and in a cost-effective manner,

    • PPC's assets are adequately protected,

    • Financial reporting is reliable.

The Company's Internal Audit is carried out by the Internal Audit Department, which is established by decision of the Board of Directors. The Director of the Internal Audit Department reports administratively to the CEO and functionally to the Audit Committee.
